But sometimes, once you have commissioned a website and work has begun, the project can become daunting, or progress gets stuck for other reasons.

- Maybe you are away from work due to illness or other reasons, and cannot work on the website as much as you hoped
- Or maybe you are experiencing cashflow difficulties and don't know how to handle things

Much of the development work for your website will already have been done before your content is needed.
This means that many hours may already have been spent by us before we realise that you have problems. If this happens to you, do get in touch. These issues can easily be addressed, but only if we know about them.

Quite often, people start off with great plans, but then become uncertain about how to carry it through. If this happens, why not scale back? Your site is made as a template, so it is just as easy to create one "holding" page for you as it is to produce several pages. We can always start with the basics - perhaps who you are, what you do and a contact page - then later it is easy to add extra pages such as testimonials or FAQs, with very little extra work. So if in doubt, just keep it simple! That way you will get a working website up and running as soon as possible, with all the future possibilities that you originally planned.
If you don't know what to say, we can suggest some typical pages, and can put together some sample wording or adapt text from any articles or brochures you have. We are experienced in copy writing and proofreading, so we can help you with the content too. You will find it much easier to find the right words when you have something to consider, rather than starting with a daunting blank canvas. So let us help you by coming up with the draft wording as a starting point for your website.
If you find you do not have as much time as you expected, please let us know. By the time you are working on your website content, we will already have begun work on creating a template for you. So if we can work with you to avoid any problems or delays that you may have, we will be happy to do so.
But if delays are unavoidable, or you need to put the project on hold for any reason, that's fine - we will simply bill you for the work to date, and hand it over to you in whatever format you prefer (we can put it online, or we can give it to you on CD). You'll probably find that most of the work is already done, and it's quite likely you will be given a working template, ready for whenever you are able to populate it.

Note that if we are unable to contact you for two weeks or longer, we reserve the right to bill for work to date. However, we would far rather work with you to get the job finished, giving you a website to be proud of!
