Server Administration

Flash has several years' experience as a UNIX System Administrator, having worked in ISPs from 1999 to 2002, and followed this with contract work which continues to this day, through partner companies and in her own right - as well as running the server on which this website is hosted.

If your task is large or highly specific, we can partner with Clues Ltd, bringing a greater manpower and skill set to ensure that you are supported effectively whatever your needs.

We also offer a Holiday Service, where your servers (and if you wish, email and phonecalls) are monitored while you are away, for a low daily rate. All we need from you is documentation, instruction and contact details for your data centre. A full log of all events is provided, so you can catch up quickly on your return (and see what you got for your money, even if no action was needed!) This is particularly valuable to small businesses and sole traders. Of course the consultant(s) involved will be happy to sign any non-disclosure agreements about your business. After all, you should be able to relax while you're away!
