Applications are invited for the new full-time post of Training Officer based at the Hyperbaric Unit at Whipps Cross University Hospital in London. The successful candidate will be required to participate in the professional development and training of current and future staff, as well as develop, organize and promote a range of courses in Diving / Hyperbaric Medicine and Diving Technology for an international clientele.
The successful applicant will become a member of our multi-skilled team of Hyperbaric professionals, and in addition to the training activities, will be expected to maintain skills in the routine and emergency treatment of patients as a Hyperbaric Supervisor.
London Hyperbaric and Wound Healing Centres Ltd works in partnership with two leading NHS hospitals to provide emergency and routine HBO treatments. Our centres operates both multiplace and monoplace chambers and we are now operate one of the busiest services in the United Kingdom.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Hyperbaric and Wound Healing Centre, based at Whipps Cross University Hospital, as a Leg Ulcer Nurse to develop your knowledge, skills and experience in this specialist service.
Success requires you to be a 1st level registered nurse with experience of working in the field of leg ulcer / tissue viability / wound management.
You will be responsible for a designated caseload of patients attending our Centre.
You will be expected to support and participate in the delivery of teaching packages with the Leg Ulcer Nurse Specialists, for health care professionals, as well as patients and their carers and to help develop this service.
ENB 49 and N18 - Leg ulcer management is essential. ENB 998 or equivalent is desirable

London Hyperbaric and Wound Healing Centres Ltd is a private company working in partnership with Whipps Cross University Hospital NHS-Trust to provide a regional service for routine and emergency Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for the NHS. Employment will be directly through the company or through the Trust.
