QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER
Issue 17 - October 2008
Autumn Newsletter!
Young creative ideas and designs
Can you help us with a new name for our Toy Library?
We're looking for a name that reflects the range of ages of children and young people who use the library as well as the variety of the toys and equipment available. So that it isn't confused with other toy libraries which are for toddlers. Or perhaps you'd like to draw/paint a simple design which we can use for the logo for this service?
The closing date for all suggestions/submissions is 14th October 08.
A prize for each submission and best suggestion will be given at our AGM on
Tuesday 21st October, 5-6.30pm.

Summer Picnic
Many thanks to everyone who attended our summer
picnic in Springfield Park. Despite the threatening weather, we held our annual event in Springfield Park - with no rain! We spent a relaxed day enjoying delicious Indian food courtesy of our parents and Kashmiri
Kebabish. Here are a few photos of the day:

Tuesday 21st October at Café Oto

The AGM is your chance to ensure that we are running HFBU properly, spending the money wisely & providing services which parents and children value. It's also a chance for you to meet staff, members of our council of management, and other parents, volunteers & carers. We will provide a crèche (booking essential) staffed by
experienced playworkers and buffet refreshments for everyone. We will also be giving prizes for your Creative Submissions (see above).
Our guest for the evening will be
